It will cut through on a Les Paul perfectly and that is indeed its natural home. The EQ is broadly similar to the Riff Raff and a Riff Raff on steroids doesn't seem like a bad description of it. WebSep 21, 2015 · The Riff Raff neck is fat and glassy but still has good pick attack and bite (something I really like) and the Mule bridge is very warm and rich sounding while still having good clarity IMHO. I also have a free-way, 6 position switch installed on my guitar that gives access to the standard offerings of a normal 3 way plus 3 split-coil options.

The Riff Raff is closest to a T-top, the BD's are like his older PAF's. They used to be not so expensive, but in the past year or 1.5 years they've pretty much doubled in price. I would say that they are, generally, very good pickups.
