An odd thing just happened - I was trying to unscrew the cap from a bottle that was in the cup holder and I guess I applied a little too much downward force... That specific holder seemed to detach and sink an inch or so. One of the 3 spring 'clips' that grasp the cup slipped back inside its hole. WebAug 17, 2007 · Anyway the cupholder is held in by one self tapping screw but you need to remove the vent that's held in by two self tapping screws one under the button cap at the top of the vent and the other screw head is revealed when the cup holder is extended. Remove both and wiggle the vent free of the fascia. Don't worry there's nothing to break!
