If the pump builder sets it to 17 then pin holds it at 17 and anything you adjust advanced on the truck from tdc gets added to it. I don’t know if the ve is basically a tdc so always no advance, and then advance is set after or not.

I put the NV4500 behind it when I did my conversion. My bad, I didn’t mention that this was a conversion in a 1979 F250 4x4 crew cab. I don’t tow in 5th gear, just 4th and 4th over on the flats.
